What is an Explore Trip?
Our 'Explore' trips are expertly curated to deliver in-depth cultural learning experiences.
Just like our full Expeditions, many different destinations are available with new cultures to experience and life skills to learn.
What's different is that there's no lead up programme to the overseas trip, itineraries are fixed and all the accommodation, in-country transport and catering is pre-arranged.
This makes Explore ideal for schools looking for an adventure with less preparation in advance and on a shorter time scale. Can also be ideal for slightly younger year groups wishing to focus their learning around particular subjects and cultural experiences.
Whilst Expeditions are usually booked and the lead-up programme in action up to 18 months in advance of travelling, our Explore trips are often booked less than 12 months in advance.
Learning Through Experience
On an Outlook Expedition, the emphasis is on learning through challenge to develop character, leadership skills and resilience.
An Outlook Explore trip offers the same opportunities to travel the world, experience different cultures and learn new life skills but the emphasis is on learning through experience and how to travel ethically and responsibly.
