Outlook was formed in the foothills of Snowdonia in 2001, by a group of passionate enthusiasts who believed in the outdoors as a vehicle for building character and inscreasing resilience.
Since then we've taken tens of thousands of students on life changing journeys to over 60 countries on five continents across the world.
We are the leading independent provider and take huge pride in running our organisation based on the guiding principles of innovation, collaboration and kindness.

Simon has worked in the education sector for almost his entire career, providing young people with opportunities to experience the great outdoors. He's managed outdoor centres in the UK and Europe, run his own sailing school and trained outdoor instructors at Truro college. He's also worked extensively in the school ski industry.
Expeditions are his passion though and he's been working in the sector since 2010.
Simon is a huge believer in the impact of adventurous travel on personal growth. It's what drives him and his team to provide the best possible support to schools and teachers so that more young people have the opportunity to participate.
From the moment a school decides to launch an Expedition or Explore trip, our team is there to provide guidance and support.
Our regional Programme Managers and expert Planning Team are on hand to help every step of the way throughout the planning process and build-up programme.
Leading up to departure, our Operations Team makes sure that teams have the right kit and equipment and that all the support services are in place to ensure a safe and successful experience for all.
I have always been exceptionally happy with the service Outlook has provided us with and feel that we are very much in 'safe hands' when we are away.
