Nepal Visa

British nationals require a visa to travel to Nepal.

Visas are available on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport however we strongly recommend individuals obtain their visas in advance.

The visa required is a single entry tourist visa, valid for 30 days. A Nepali visa is valid for entry for three to six months from the date of issue.. This will cost £35.

Application in person

Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity
One recent passport-size photograph
Duly filled in and signed visa application form
Visa fee in cash – cards are not accepted
Visas can be collected on the same day

Please enclose postal order or bank draft made payable to ‘Embassy of Nepal’ for the visa fee. *Please note that personal cheques are not accepted.
Also, please enclose a Self Addressed Envelope with (Recorded delivery) stamp with the application
Once visa application is received by the Embassy, the application may take upto 2-3 working days within the UK and up to 2 weeks outside the UK to be processed
You must send your passport with your application
