Please discuss vaccination requirements with your GP as it is essential that decisions are made with the knowledge of personal medical history. Existing conditions or current medication can have a bearing on the type of vaccination you can receive.

When visiting your GP be sure to take along a copy of your itinerary to show where you are going. It is important to remember that even if you are transiting through certain countries on your outbound or inbound flight, they may require vaccination certificates for certain diseases e.g. Yellow Fever. Check your flight schedule or contact us if you are not sure.

The cost of inoculations and malarial prophylaxis is not included in the expedition price, and can vary greatly from county to county and from surgery to surgery.

Most cases of infectious diseases are either caused by contaminated water, insect transmission or by contaminated food.
