Get to know your destination

Before travelling to any destination, it's a good idea to do some research about the country you're travelling to.

It's useful to find out about local cultures and what to expect - it's also really handy to know a few phrases to help you get by when trying to communicate with local people.

As English is widely spoken across our continents, we sometimes don't make the effort to learn or feel self conscious when trying to speak the local language. But, if you do a bit of homework before you travel, it will really help your confidence.
